E&M Fall 2024 Primary Prevention Endorsement Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is for Recommendation Group members to discuss and share perspectives regarding the measures under endorsement review for their respective E&M committee. Endorsement voting occurs during these virtual meetings. Advisory Group members are invited to attend these Recommendation Group meetings to listen to the discussion. Measure developers/stewards are invited and encouraged to attend, as they will have the opportunity to respond to the Recommendation Group discussion during the meeting.

E&M Spring 2024 Primary Prevention Endorsement Meeting

Gains in Patient Activation Measure (PAM) Scores at 12 Months

The measure is the percentage of patients who achieve a 3-point increase in their Patient Activation Measure® (PAM®) survey score within 12 months. The outcome measure demonstrates how a clinician group performed in providing best care to its patients by quantifying the proportion of patients who had at least a 3-point score change.

Measuring the Value-Functions of Primary Care: Comprehensiveness of Care

This measure evaluates the extent primary care physicians (PCPs) provide care-based and procedural-based services core to primary care. For each PCP, the resulting value reflects an average of the weighted proportion of services within each category provided during the measurement period.
