ExclusionsSPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS:
Contraindications to a beta blocker, including:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Bradycardia
- Hypotension
- Aortic stenosis
- Peripheral artery disease medications
- Heart block in the absence of a pacemaker
- Cocaine abuse
- Pulmonary hypertension medications
- Heart transplant
-Heart valve surgery
- Patient or provider feedback indicating allergy,intolerance or contraindication to the drug anytime in the past
GENERAL EXCLUSIONS:
•Evidence of metastatic disease or active treatment of malignancy (chemotherapy or radiation therapy) in the last 6 months;
•Patients who have been in a skilled nursing facility in the last 3 months
•Patients who are terminally ill or in a hospice
