Throughout the E&M cycle, PQM produces a variety of resources for committee members, measure developers/stewards, and the general public. This page features guidance documents and educational materials aimed at helping you understand the E&M process and evaluation criteria. Should you have any questions or require additional assistance, please reach out to PQMSupport@Battelle.org.
Logic Model Guidance: Measure developers and stewards are required to submit a logic model depicting the relationships between structures and processes and the desired outcome for their measure. This guide explains the purpose of a logic model in the context of quality measurement, describes the elements of a logic model, and highlights common approaches, pitfalls, and mitigations for developing a visually effective logic model.
Measure Developer Workshop: In October 2024, the E&M team hosted a virtual measure developer workshop titled "What Good Looks Like: A Comprehensive Guide to Successful Measure Endorsement." This session was designed to equip developers and stewards with a thorough understanding of Battelle’s comprehensive strategy for measure endorsement and best practices for measure submissions. Developers and stewards are encouraged to reference the workshop materials including: 1) presentation slides with a detailed overview of each domain of the PQM Measure Evaluation Rubric—highlighting common pitfalls, mitigation strategies, and specific requirements for new and maintenance measures and tips for developers on how to effectively navigate the endorsement cycle, and 2) example measure submissions that illustrate to what degree responses in the form address each of the PQM Evaluation Rubric domains.
