We are excited to welcome 432 new and returning members from 338 organizations to our Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) committees supporting Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR), Measure Set Review (MSR), and Endorsement and Maintenance (E&M). This year, Battelle received an overwhelming number of applications from a diverse group of candidates, including patients, clinicians, policy experts, and professionals specializing in rural health and health equity.
Committee Responsibilities
For PRMR, members will review and recommend health care quality measures for inclusion in select CMS Medicare quality programs. The MSR Recommendation Group, comprised of a subset of PRMR members, will evaluate measures for continued use in CMS programs. Meanwhile, E&M committee members will assess and endorse measures that are evidence based, scientifically sound, safe and effective.
