1.3 Measure Description

Percentage of patients, aged 13 years and older, who were screened for injection drug use at least once within 12 months.

    • 1.14 Numerator

      Patients who were screened* for injection drug use at least once within 12 months

      *Screening is defined as documentation that a discussion regarding injection drug use took place, or documentation that a standardized tool was used

    • 1.15 Denominator

      All patients aged 13 years and older who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS with at least two visits in the measurement year, with at least 60 days in between each visit

    • Exclusions

      None
