*Potent antiretroviral therapy is described as any antiretroviral therapy that has demonstrated optimal efficacy and results in durable suppression of HIV as shown by prior clinical trials

Percentage of patients, regardless of age, with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, with at least two medical visits during the measurement year, with a minimum of 90 and 180 days between each visit

Percentage of patients for whom Hepatitis B screening was performed at least once since the diagnosis of HIV infection or for whom there is documented immunity

This measure assesses the proportion of inpatient hospital encounters where patients ages 18 years of age or older have been administered an opioid medication, subsequently suffer the harm of an opioid-related adverse event, and are administered an opioid antagonist (naloxone) within 12 hours. This measure excludes opioid antagonist (naloxone) administration occurring in the operating room setting.

Percentage of female adolescents 13 years of age who had three doses of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine by their 13th birthday.

This measure estimates a hospital-level 30-day, all-cause, risk-standardized mortality rate (RSMR) for patients discharged from the hospital with a principal discharge diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The outcome is all-cause 30-day mortality, defined as death from any cause within 30 days of the index admission date, including in-hospital death, for AMI patients. The target population is Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries who are 65 years or older.
