As the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) certified Consensus-Based Entity (CBE), Battelle is dedicated to ensuring a reliable, transparent, and meaningful quality measurement review process. At the conclusion of the Fall 2024 Endorsement and Maintenance (E&M) cycle, we received feedback from interested parties highlighting concerns with respect to:
- Consensus threshold of 75% being too high.
- Measures currently endorsed (i.e., maintenance measures) losing their status due to "consensus not reached" outcomes.
In response, we propose several enhancements to address issues related to consensus decisions and measure endorsement.
The proposed enhancements are available for public comment until 11:59 PM (ET) on April 20, 2025.
