DenominatorNumber of home health episodes of care ending during the reporting period, other than those covered by generic or measure-specific exclusions.
ExclusionsEpisodes in which the patient did not have pain since the last OASIS assessment, as evidenced by a formal assessment that indicated no pain. Long-term episodes (as indicated by the presence of a follow-up assessment between admission and transfer or discharge). Episodes ending in patient death.
